Drunken Jack's Restaurant

After looking at reviews in the area, we chose Drunken Jacks. We would not go back until we tried other establishments first.In my opinion the food is over priced for the quality.We arrived at 4 and were seated immediately, as we were leaving @ 5:30 people had an 1 & 1/2 hour wait, plan ahead.The salad bar was the same as an average all you can eat buffet. Advertised “jumbo wings” were regular sized wings and over cooked, poor quality and over priced...Chicken fingers were obviously frozen prepared, and again over priced.Server was very good but did not know what a jumbo wing size is supposed to be, not his fault, management needs to advertise properly and train their staff.Calamari and fried scallops were decent.Bottom line, if you are going to charge 5 star prices please serve 5 star food.

Outstanding. Based on prior reviews, it was at the top of our list. The hotel clerk confirmed that when I asked that rare question, "What's a good place to eat?" Flounder & crab cake was what my wife had; me large scallops. Excellent; then dessert. Key Lime pie for my wife; Black Joke pie for me. That, a pecan pie slice, two scoops of ice cream, with something fabulous on top of the pie, with chocolate sauce. At $8, I told our waitress it was the best dessert I've ever eaten. If we return to this area, I'll visit again.

We had a great time at Drunken Jack's Restaurant and Bar. We went there before 4pm on a Sunday, so their dining area wasn't open, however the lounge was open below. The food was great and the service was too. This place used paper straws, and actively requested customers not use straws, which was nice. Also, for those like me who are handicapped, the place had both a ramp and an elevator, so it would be accessible for all. The bathroom also was accessible, which made life easier. I'll definitely be returning!
